Rebel Parent Group

Mission

The purpose of the Rebel Parent Group is to support and empower a strong, dedicated community for the students, families and teachers of St. Thomas More Catholic School.

Description

The Rebel Parent Group provides families a way to deepen their involvement in the St. Thomas More School community by participating in quarterly meetings, discussing new ideas, organizing volunteers and hosting community building events. It also offers parents a voice to directly influence various school efforts including fundraising, enrichment opportunities, events and more.

Some of the events that will be hosted by the Rebel Parent Group include:

• Pastries with Parents (twice annually) 
• Fund Run Carnival
• Oktoberfest
• Father / Daughter Dance
• Mother / Son Bingo
• Teacher Appreciation Week

For the 2024-25 school year, the Rebel Parent Group will be led by Katie McNeil as well as teacher representative Sarah Arte. Room Parents will act as representatives for each grade.

All families of St. Thomas Catholic School are members of the Rebel Parent Group and are invited and encouraged to attend quarterly meetings.
